Chapter 1: Stress and Positive Thinking
Stress is one of the most common problems in our society nowadays. It's
born from the problems people do not know how to solve and that they do
not know how to cope.
Positive thinking helps people deal with their stress and gives coping
methods. Some of these methods are affirmations and positive self-talk.
It does not only help people cope with their stress but also improves
their health and it decreases their predisposition to develop a
maladaptive behavior such as smoking.
